Hand Polished "Alien Rock" from Arizona

These pieces come from private claims in Bloody Basin, Arizona. The way the neon green Chalcedony oozes out of this host Basalt reminds me of Aliens. I found this ball of Alien rock that showed pockets of purple Chalcedony and Botryoidals. It was difficult to cut this piece and preserve the beautiful Bots. The inside revealed a pocket of Agate. This clear Agate has Plumes in red, orange and yellow. You can see deep in the clear Agate pocket. Botroydial clusters appear in those depths. Fluorescent under UV light.
